Exploring bold ideas: announcing the first recipients of our new Ideas Fund
We’re pleased to announce the first recipients of the Trust’s new Ideas Fund, which supports organisations to explore, test and develop innovative approaches aligned to our three focus areas: financial capability, employability and nature.

Duration: 2 Mins
Date: 19 Aug 2026
“The Ideas Fund is about creating space for organisations to test bold and innovative approaches to some of the challenges faced by the communities we support. We’re excited to back these five projects and learn from their ideas as they develop. By supporting early-stage innovation, we hope to uncover new ways of improving financial capability, employability and outcomes for nature, while building a stronger evidence base for future action.”
Neurodiverse Self Advocacy Partnership
Neurodiverse Self Advocacy Partnership will develop an AI-powered employability coaching avatar to help autistic people practise job interviews and learn how to request reasonable adjustments in a safe and supportive environment. Through realistic scenarios, personalised feedback and opportunities for repetition, the project aims to build confidence, communication skills and preparedness for employment.
Pregnant Then Screwed
Many mothers are unaware of the gender pension gap, its long-term impact and the steps they can take to address it. This project will use a combination of roadshows, podcasts and digital communications to raise awareness and equip mothers with practical information and tools to take action.
Progressive Farming Trust
The Progressive Farming Trust’s Worth the Change project will help farmers assess and manage the financial implications of adopting sustainable farming practices. By providing practical tools and insights, the project aims to support environmentally beneficial changes that also make economic sense for farming businesses.
RainbowAsia
RainbowAsia will establish a free employment navigation service for LGBTQ+ young people in Singapore. Through fortnightly clinics, peer mentoring and legal literacy support, the project will help young people access fair employment opportunities in a context where sexual orientation and gender identity are not protected characteristics under employment law.
The Money Charity
The Money Charity will develop a Fellowship Programme for teachers, designed to build expertise, confidence and enthusiasm for financial education. Participating teachers will receive training, funding and peer support to test and implement new financial education initiatives within their schools, helping to create champions for the subject.
