About the research
Our monitor of household financial wellbeing is conducted by Opinium and analysed by a team at The University of Bristol’s Personal Finance Research Centre.
Around 6,000 respondents are questioned from a nationally- and politically-representative sample. Since its inception in 2020 the Tracker has shown how UK household finances are faring during periods such as the Covid pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis.
