Experience and competencies
Rick is a highly experienced global investment leader with over 30 years in senior management roles. His deep understanding of global markets and evolving regulatory themes brings significant value to the Board.
Before joining the Aberdeen board, Rick held a number of senior leadership positions at State Street Global Advisors including 12 years as Global Chief Investment Officer, where he had oversight of investment activity across active and passive strategies and multiple asset classes. Most recently, he served as Senior Advisor and Global Head of ESG where he led the firm’s approach to sustainability and engagement with regulators, clients and investors.
