Aberdeen’s Global Private Markets Fund Onboarded onto Allfunds Alternative Solutions Platform

03 November 2025

Aberdeen, the specialist asset manager, announces today its Global Private Markets Fund (GPMF) has been onboarded onto the Allfunds Alternative Solutions Platform.

As a result, the Aberdeen Global Private Markets Fund will reach a network of 900 distributors at a time when platforms like Allfunds are become increasingly central to fund distribution.

Xavier Meyer, CEO of Investments, at Aberdeen commented;

“Our relationship with Allfunds goes back many years and we’re excited to be bringing our private market expertise to Allfunds’ distribution clients in this next phase. Platforms such as Allfunds are becoming increasingly important for distribution and a key part of our plans to ensure private market investments are accessible to a range of investors.

“This collaboration allows us to bring our private markets experience and expertise to investors in the UK and across EMEA at a time when the return and diversification opportunities of private assets are gaining interest.”

Nalaka De Silva, Head of Private Markets Solutions and Manager of the abrdn Global Private Markets Fund, at Aberdeen said;

“Vehicles for institutional investors and high-net-worth-individuals (HNWIs) have existed for years, but they have typically had long lock-ups periods – often 10 years or more –making them inaccessible for many.

“With no lock-up period and quarterly liquidity, the Global Private Markets Fund offers investors access to long-term growth opportunities through a diversified portfolio of private market assets. The fund targets high-potential private companies, next-generation infrastructure, real estate alongside private debt—seeking to capture value across some of the most dynamic segments of the global economy.

“At Aberdeen, alongside our sizeable public markets investments, we have been long-term investors into private markets.”

Borja Largo, Chief Fund Groups Officer, at Allfunds, said;

“The expansion of our private markets offering through the addition of Aberdeen’s Global Private Markets Fund represents another key milestone in Allfunds’ commitment to delivering investment solutions at scale, and to meet the diversified needs of our clients. Aberdeen’s longstanding expertise and deep knowledge across private asset classes make it a natural fit for us; by leveraging our distribution capabilities and data-driven approach, we are helping to transform access to private markets for a wider range of investors across Europe and beyond.”
